
The US dollar changed hand at the upper 104 yen level early Monday morning in Tokyo, little changed from its level late Friday in New York. At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.91-92 yen compared with 104.81-91 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Friday. The Tokyo market was closed Friday for the New Year holidays. The euro fetched 1.3594-3596 dollars and 142.61-66 yen against 1.3585-3595 dollars and 142.47-57 yen in New York late Friday afternoon.
