Dollar trades at upper 77 yen zone in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar traded at the upper 77 yen zone Thursday morning in Tokyo. The dollar bought 77.68-69 yen at midday compared with 77.58-68 yen in New York and 78.00-02 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The euro was quoted at 1.3442-3444 dollars and 104.42-46 yen against 1.3441-3451 dollars and 104.31-41 yen in New York and 1.3270-3272 dollars and 103.51-55 yen in Tokyo in late Wednesday afternoon.
