
The Finance Ministry auctioned on Monday treasury bonds at a total value of EGP 4.75 billion.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold EGP 3 billion of 5-year and EGP 1.75 billion of 10-year treasury bonds.
A coupon of 13.608% was offered on the 5-year bonds (maturing on January 4, 2021). The yield ranged from 13.57% to 13.65%.
It also sold 10-year bonds (maturing on June 3, 2024) that had a coupon of 15.718%. The yield ranged from 15.68% to 15.76%.
The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bonds on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
