
Egypt's bourse resumed its downward trend at end of trading Tuesday amid sales of corporations and limited purchase by investors.
The market capital lost about 500 million pounds to reach 491.9 billion pounds against 492.4 billion pounds in yesterday's trading.
The EGX 30 benchmark index drew back 0.13 percent to close at 8,660.93 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) went down 0.71 percent to 452.86 points.
The wider all-embracing EGX 100 index also dipped by 0.46 percent to 961.50 points.
