Egypt's main stock index, the EGX30, rose 0.44 per cent since the start of Thursday''s trading to record 3,578.53 by midday. The broader EGX70 and EGX100 indices increased by 1.14 and 0.87 per cent respectively. Out of 133 listed stocks, 88 gained and 20 fell in the early trading hours. The Egyptian bourse closed Thursday in the green with the main benchmark, the EGX30, rising 1 per cent to close at 3,622 points. Egyptian and foreign investors were both net buyers, with only Arabs were net sellers on Thursday.(QNA) MD
