Abolishing the November 21 constitutional declaration gave momentum to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday with its market capital gaining 8.5 billion EGP. The EGX 30 benchmark index leapfrogged by 4 percent to stand at 5031.58 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) meantime went up by 2.5 percent, reaching 438.49 points.
