
Indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) lost over EGP 26 billion during current week''''s trading, bringing market capital to around EGP 461.2 billion, compared with EGP 471.2 last week with a five percent decrease. Benchmark index EGX30 dropped 6.7 percent to end the week at 7.701 points. Small and mid-cap index EGX70 also dropped 8.42 percent to close at EGP 574 points, according to the bourse weekly report released on Friday. The broader index EGX100 ended 7.75 percent to close at 1009 points, while EGX20 decreased 7.59 percent to close at 9187 points.
