
Emaar Misr has submitted a request to be listed in the Egyptian stocks.
Emaar's capital amounts to LE 878 million, distributed over about 87 million shares.
Head of EGX Mohamed Omran said that submitting requests to list in the market reflects that bourse's strategy during 2014-2017 is in the right track.
The bourse is adopting a strategy aimed at expanding its base via increasing its list of promising companies, Omran said.
He added that the Egyptian bourse exerted great efforts during the past years to promote the efficiency of the domestic stocks market and its ability to support companies.
