At 5 p.m., the single European currency fetched 1.3601-3602 dollars and 104.69-73 yen against 1.3629-3639 dollars and 105.02- 12 yen in New York and 1.3736-3738 dollars and 105.89-93 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. The dollar changed hands at 76.97-98 yen versus 77.03-13 yen in New York and 77.09-11 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. It moved between 76.92 yen and 77.51 yen, trading most frequently at 77.10 yen.
