The French stock market index CAC 40 gained 15.00 points to close at 4,381.04 points on Friday, with a 0.34 percent increase.
A total of 23 of the 40 selected companies gained advance in share price, while 16 companies experienced decrease and the other closed flat.
Veolia Environnement led the gainers with 1.60 percent increase, while Renault lost most, decreasing by 2.93 percent.
