The benchmark French stock market index CAC 40 performed weak on Wednesday with a decrease of 50.97 points, and closed at 4365.27 points, down by 1.15 percent.
Among the 40 selected companies, 38 experienced decrease, while only 2 gained advance.
Societe Generale and EDF gained respectively an advance of 0.61 percent and 0.04 percent, while Orange lost most and decreased by 4.12 percent.
