The French stock market CAC 40 index rsoe by 0.56 percent, gaining 23.80 points to a total of 4,254.45 points on Tuesday.
A total of 34 of the 40 selected companies managed a gain while the other 6 experienced decrease.
Valeo led the gainers with 4.10 percent advance, while EDF lost most and decreased by 0.80 percent.
In other stock markets, DAX index gained 88.95 points and stood at 9,334.28 points, with a 0.96 percent increase.
FTSE 100 index also increased 0.56 percent by gaining 38.06 points and stood at 6,779.31 points.
