Hong Kong's Exchange Fund's total assets amounted to 2.6482 trillion HK dollars (about 341.7 billion U.S. dollars) at the end of November, up 35.9 billion HK dollars from October, the city's Monetary Authority announced Monday. According to the figures, foreign currency and Hong Kong dollar assets increased by 20.7 billion HK dollars and 15.2 billion HK dollars respectively. The Monetary Base at the end of November was 1.1359 trillion HK dollars, an increase of 2.1 percent from the end of October.
