
Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Mong-koo saw the value of his shares in the conglomerate shrink by nearly 400 billion won following a multi-trillion won land bid that alarmed investors, data showed Sunday.
Chung's holdings of shares in affiliates such as Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Mobis and Hyundai Steel came in at 6.58 trillion won (US$6.3 billion) as of Thursday, down 375.4 billion won from the previous day, according to the data by market tracker FnGuide.
