
Indian stocks closed lower Friday with the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index Sensex reversing early gains of over 150 points in trade on Friday by closing at 20,217.39 points, 11.66 points or 0.06 percent down from the previous close of 20,229.05 points. The wider Nifty index also came down to closed below its psychological support level of 6,000 points for a second day consecutive. The 30-share Sensex touched a high of 20,388.12 and a low of 20, 137.67 during the trade.
