Kuwait Stock Exchange's new KSX 15 index ended the first trading session in operation with a drop of 1.52 points to read 998.48 points on closing Sunday, while the price index lost 0.74 pts to 6,446.06 points and the weighted index lost 0.23 points to 419 points. Trades came to 2,079 transactions, worth KD 8,466,870.884 and volume reached 71,892,399 shares. Top share for the day was National International Company's, while biggest loser was stock of Al-Safat Company, and top volume share was that of Gulf Finance House. With 14 sector indices instead of the previous eight, the screen was mostly red upon closing.
