Benchmark of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) remained above the 7,550-point level in last week's trading, buoyed by substantial trading, Al-Oula brokerage company said in a report released on Friday. Although traders were overwhelmed with upbeat sentiments, they resorted to profit pocketing, thus halting prospected hikes as part of the bullish trend that dominated the sessions of Monday and Wednesday. The market witnessed some technical corrections, the report said, adding that the corrections were forecast and result of the record inflow of liquidity, unprecedented since three years ago. Profit pocketing did not substantially affect the liquidity inflow and the optimistic atmosphere remained prevalent through the past week sessions. The Al-Oula report noted that value of injected liquidity soared to KD 169 milion in the end of the past week sessions. The report ruled out "irregular" drop of the KSE indexes in the coming sessions.
