
KSE trades closed on Tuesday with a mixed board, both main and sector indices. The weighted index gained 0.92 points, the price index slipped 9.05 points, while the KSX 15 index went up by 3.29 points. Trades came to 5,306 transactions worth KD 26.9 million, with 247.1 million shares changing hands. Top volume shares were (GFH), (INVESTORS), (DANAH), (NAZAEL), and (ALMADINA). Top gainers were meanwhile (ALEID), (IPG), (AMWAL), (AGHC), and (CITYGROUP). As for sector indices, the top gainer in both the price and weighted indices was the Banks sector up by 7.93 and 4.48 points respectively. Meanwhile, the top loser in the price index was the insurance sector, up by 11.9 points, while the top loser in the weighted index was the technology sector, up by 7.72 points.
