
Wednesday trading at Kuwait Stock Exchange came to a close with all main indices in green and strong green notes in the sector indices board as well. The weighted index came to 460.02 points on a gain of 1. 33 points, the price index was up to 7,809.86 points on a gain of 88.87 points, and the KSX 15 came to 1,084.66 points posting a gain of 1.69 points. Trades came to 11,645 transactions worth KD 48,151,959.763, and volume was 631,829,879 shares. -- The market's sector indices board meanwhile showed 10 gainer indices, two unchanged from last closing, and another two indices settling in red. Top volume shares were (MAYADEEN), (INVESTORS), (GFH), (ABYAAR), and (IRC). The top gainers were meanwhile (ALDEERA), (IFAHR), (INVESTORS), (ABYAAR), and (PAPCO). This is in sharp contrast to yesterday's closing when the boards took on overwhelming red with all main indices shedding points and all but three sector indices also going down.
