
Kuwait Stock Exchange ended the first trading day in December 2013 on a red board Sunday, as the weighted index came to 457.39 points on a loss of 1.61 points, the price index to 7,741.62 points on a down of 43.86 points, and the KSX 15 to 1,078.66 points on a slip of 4.65 points. Trades came to 5,446 spot transactions worth KD 22.477 million, with 193.7 million shares changing hands. Sector indices were meanwhile nine red, three unchanged, and two green upon closing. Gainer share of the day was (SGC), and the biggest loser was (KAMCO). The five top volume shares were (IFA), (TIJARA), (ABYAAR), (INVESTORS), and (MAYADEEN).
