Jakarta stock exchange forecasts 30 companies are going to list in the bourse next year, President Director of the bourse Ito Warsito said here on Wednesday. The number is higher than that of 25 firms last year and this year's target. "We have put target of 25 firms in the last two years. So we raise the target in order to push the bourse to work harder," he said at his office. "For this year, we are upbeat that the target of 25 firms to conduct IPO (initial public offering) can be achieved, or even it can be passed," said Warsito. Growing investment, followed by huge consumption in the Southeast Asia's largest economy homed by over 238 million population, have made up decline in exports. Moody's upgraded Indonesia's credit rating to investment grade on Jan. 18 after Foitch's did similar suit on Dec. 15, putting the country on the radar of global funds managers. The government expects 6.5 percent economic growth this year and 6.8 percent next year.
