
US stocks experienced growth on Thursday, in which the NASDAQ Composite Index closed with a 1.18 percent growth for the day and closed at 4,857.61, the highest level it has reached in 15 years.
The Standard and Poor's 500 added one percent to 2,088.28, its highest level so far this year. While the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased at 0.62 percent and closed at 17,972.38.
According to economy-focused media outlets, investors were pleased over the cease-fire agreements between Russia and Ukraine. Since the news of the deal came out during the morning hours in the US, it primed the market for such a successful day.
