Paris stock market falls by more than 3%

The Paris stock market was hit Tuesday by fresh uncertainty over commitments to the eurozone budget discipline pact, and the CAC 30 index of leading shares plunged lower in late trading. The index of French blue-chips showed a loss of 3.04 percent to 3,116.45 points in thin trading on a French holiday that celebrates the end of World War II in Europe.
