
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met Tuesday night with Investment Minister Ashraf Salman and chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Mohamed Omran to discuss the latest developments at the EGX.
Attending the meeting were also a number of capital market officials.
The meeting came in the wake of the successive red endings at the EGX shortly after the law on Capital Gains Tax (CGT) went into effect.
Chairman of Prime Holding Mohamed Maher, who attended the meeting, told MENA they discussed the real reasons behind the current situation.
