The Qatar Exchange was slightly down on Thursday 21.63 points or 0.26% to 8,396.53 points from the previous closing of 8,418.16. The volume of shares traded was down to 4,499,402 from 6,452,474 on Wednesday, and the value of shares fell to QR260,593,613.37 from QR366,094,709.85 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar Islamic Bank whose share dropped by 0.50% to QR80.00, Electricity & Water fell 0.64% to QR140.00, Qatar Insurance lost 0.76% to QR78.00 and Qatar Navigation down 1.75% to QR78.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 54.83 points while the Insurance sector down 51.86 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 57.21 points and the Services sector fell 18.61 points
