Trading value during this week increased by 5.62% to reach QR 1,898,457,750.18 compared to QR 1,797,450,428.62.
Trading volume decreased by 0.75% to reach 38,415,121 shares, as against 38,705,702 shares, while the number of transactions fell by 7.23%, to reach 23,241 transactions as compared to 25,052 transactions..
Market capitalization rose by 2.43% to reach QR 632,465,285,930.48 as compared to QR 617,470,754,421.40 at the end of previous week.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded value this week with 39.01% of the total traded value. Industries sector accounted for 26.06%. Real Estate sector accounted for 16.24% and Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 8.24%.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week with 34.88% of the total traded volume. Real Estate sector accounted for 27.38%. Industries sector accounted for 15.39% and Telecoms sector accounted for 13.88%.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded number of transactions accounted for 28.37% of the total number of transactions. Industries sector accounted for 24.34%. Real Estate sector accounted for 17.12% and Telecoms sector accounted for 15.84%.
From the 43 listed companies 31 ended this week higher, while 11 fell and one unchanged.
QNB led traded value during this week accounted for 11.47% of the total traded value. Gulf International Services accounted for 10.63% and Barwa Real Estate accounted for 10.51%.
