Qatar Exchange was in the green area Sunday by adding 78.92 points or 0.92% to 8,623.10 points from the previous closing of 8,544.18. The volume of shares traded was down to 6,319,146 from 8,636,680 on Thursday and the value of shares fell to QR296,738,071.57 from QR313,321,225.92 Thursday. Top gainers were Commercial Bank of Qatar which was up 1.25% to QR81.20, Qatar Islamic Bank rose 1.87% to QR81.70, Qatar Telecom gained 1.14% to QR151.00 and Doha Bank up by 2.42% to QR63.50. Today the Qatar banking and financial sector was also up by 119.83 points while the Qatar industrial sector added 81.11 points and the services sector gained 55.11 points, according to a report of Qatar News Agency
