The Qatar Exchange was slightly up on Tuesday adding 1.09 points or 0.01% to 8,400.89 points from the previous closing of 8,399.80. The volume of shares traded up to 2,560,682 from 1,741,455 on Monday and the value of shares was increased to QR116,292,044.22 from QR70,785,652.53 Monday. Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 1.30% to QR140.20, Masref Al Rayan rose 0.34% to QR23.62, Al khalij Commercial Bank gained 0.52% to QR17.40 and National Leasing up by 0.26% to QR39.10. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 5.28 while the Insurance sector up 17.29 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 76.40 points and the Services sector dropped 19.72 points.
