The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Monday adding 7.04 points or 0.08% to 8,786.07 points from the previous closing of 8,779.03. The volume of shares traded was down to 5,559,479 from 46,142,374 on last day and the value of shares was fell to QR164,812,263.26 from QR1,196,769,268.76. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.66% to QR153.00, Industries Qatar rose 1.13% to QR134.50, Doha Bank gained 0.62% to QR64.50 and Al Kaleej Takaful up by 1.55% to QR45.85. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 33.29 while the Insurance sector fell 77.79 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 1.51 points and the Services sector lost 3.94 points.
