The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Monday adding 8.01 points or 0.09% to 8,694.77 points from the previous closing of 8,686.76. The volume of shares traded up to 17,067,712 from 12,890,892 on last day and the value of shares was increased to QR529,676,387.19 from QR420,037,349.17. Top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 1.52% to QR86.90, Electricity & Water rose 1.77% to QR143.50, Qatar Navigation gained 0.71% to QR71.00 and Gulf warehousing Co up by 1.60% to QR38.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 5.72 while the Insurance sector added 112.36 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 17.99 points and the Services sector gained 18.83 points.
