The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Monday adding 85.89points or 1.02% to 8,544.18 points from 8,458.29 Sunday. The volume of shares traded up to 6,335,338 from 3,084,357 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR247,585,444.74 from QR 126,774,227.44 Sunday. Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 1.17% to QR147.10, Qatar Islamic Bank by 2.02% to QR80.80, Barwa Real estate up by 2.86% to QR32.40,Qatar Telecom by 1.27% to QR159.00 and Vodafone Qatar by 1.13% to QR8.04. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 126.92 while the Industrial sector rose 90.49 points and the Services sector was up 61.24 points.
