The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Sunday adding 95.95 points or 1.11% to 8,758.71 points from 8,662.76 Thursday. The volume of shares traded fell to 6,446,065 from 6,671,565 on Thursday and the value of shares down to QR279,321,779.23 from QR315,124,068.58 Thursday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.94% to QR151.00, Industries Qatar by 1.27% to QR135.50, Barwa by 1.03% to QR29.35 and Masref Al Rayan up by 1.15% to QR26.45. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 140.81 while the Insurance sector down 17.29 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 91.67 points and the Services sector added 71.41 points.
