
The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Thursday at 11,343.38 points (0.05%) down 5.79 points from the previous closing of 11,349.17 points on Wednesday. The volume of shares was up to 19,777,992 from Wednesday 15,742,784 and the value of shares increased to QR829,705,303.87 from QR807,524,370.33 on Wednesday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share down 1.57% to QR175.20, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.26% to QR75.50, International Islamic Bank fell 2.72% to QR71.50 and Ooredoo decreased by 1.80% to QR136.50. The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.26% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index down 0.24 points. The industrial sector was dropped 0.92 points while insurance sector fell 1.09% points.
