
The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Thursday at 11,367.31 points (0.18%) down 20.83 points from the previous closing of 11,388.14 points on Wednesday. The volume of shares was fell to 10,251,389 from Wednesday 14,706,579 and the value of shares decreased to QR462,511,012.31 from QR619,893,657.56 on Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 0.95% to QR177.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 2.60% to QR60.00, Islamic Insurance fell 0.95% to QR62.50 and Doha Bank decreased by 1.52% to QR58.40. The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.69% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.11 points. The industrial sector was up 0.08 points while insurance sector gained 0.83% points.
