
The Qatar Exchange down on Wednesday 21.72 points (0.22%) to 9,650.12 points from the previous closing of 9,671.84 points. The volume of shares traded fell to 5,023,169 from 5,323,782 on last day, and the value of shares increased to QR263,019,352.96 from QR233,378,041.38 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.97% to QR163.20, Barwa Real Estate lost 0.18% to QR27.10, Commercial Bank of Qatar fell 3.43% to QR70.30 and Doha Bank down 0.72% to QR48.10. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.78 points while the Service sector fell 0.45 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 0.48 points and Insurance sector up 0.20 points.
