The Qatar Exchange pursued its downswing trend on Monday falling by 1.28 points or 0.02 % to 8,228.52 points from the previous closing of 8,229.80. The volume of shares traded was down to 3,704,232 from 3,984,499 on Sunday and the value of shares added to QR 160,993,638.76 from QR 129,249,068.12 Sunday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar, which was down 0.08% to 129.10, Qatar Navigation fall by 0.83% to QR 60.10 , Barwa lost 0.56% to QR 26.85, Qatar Intl. Islamic Bank fall by 0.51% to 48.40 and Comm. Bank of Qatar was down by 0.58% to QR 68.60. The Banking and Financial sector was up by 1.51 points while the Insurance sector gained 1.51 points. While the industrial sector was down by 2.73 points and the Services sector fall by 13.24 points. (QNA)
