
The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 119.68 points (1.20%) to 9,886.68 points from the previous closing of 10,006.36 points. The volume of shares traded fell to 6,720,116 from 7,386,913 on Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR262,299,139.86 from 320,293,213.95 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 2.06% to QR176.00, Industries Qatar lost 2.03% to QR159.10, Barwa Real Estate fell 0.92% to QR24.87 and Masraf Al Rayan down 1.65% to QR29.75. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 1.44 points while the Service sector fell 0.90 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 1.17 points and Insurance sector down 0.48 points.
