
The Qatar Exchange down on Wednesday 179.80 points or 1.89% to 9,356.32 points from the previous closing of 9,536.12 points. The volume of the shares fell to 7,400,375 from 7,592,512 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR343,396,208.09 from QR241,746,374.82 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 2.44% to QR163.90, Industries Qatar lost 1.25% to QR150.30, Commercial Bank of Qatar fell 0.75% to QR66.50 and Ooredoo down by 3.77% to QR132.80. The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 1.91 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 2.54 points. The industrial sector was down 0.88 points while insurance sector up 1.00 points.
