
The Qatar Exchange in the green area on Monday adding 8.18 points (0.08%) advance to 10,368.20 points from 10,360.02 on Sunday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 7,684,447 from 7,830,646 on Sunday and the value of shares decreased to QR256,696,058.52 from QR289,446,816.37 Sunday. Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank which was up 0.43% to QR69.30, International Islamic Bank gained 1.33% to QR60.80, Electricity and Water added 1.63% to QR180.90 and Gulf International up by 1.50% to QR60.90. The Banking and Financial sector index was fell 0.19 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.17 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.41 points while insurance sector added 0.78 points.
