
The Qatar Exchange ended in the green area when trading closed Monday at 10,341.07 points (0.15%) up 15.35 points from the previous closing of 10,325.72 points on Sunday. The volume of shares was up to 21,654,473 from Sunday's 17,811,755 and the value of shares increased to QR 527,785,172.95 from QR 627,257,570.22 on Sunday. Among the top gainers were Intl. Islamic Bank whose share up 1.03% to QR 59.00, National Cement Co. whose share added 0.97% to QR 104.00, Qatar Navigation gained 1.02% to QR 88.80 and Ooredoo increased by 0.44% to QR 135.50 . The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.36% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.02 % points. The industrial sector was down 0.29% points while insurance sector fell 0.12 % points.
