
Qatar Exchange continued upswing trend on Monday, adding 43.91 points (0.45%) to advance to 9,808.46 points from 9,764.55 on Sunday. The volume of the shares decreased to 4,958,044 from 5,580,410 on Sunday and the value of shares fell to QR244,267,468.19 from QR270,770,267.17. Among the top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 0.25% to QR159.90, Commercial Bank of Qatar rose 0.58% to QR69.80, Barwa Real Estate gained 0.40% to QR25.00 and Masraf Al Rayan up by 0.35% to QR28.90. The Banking and Financial sector index up 0.35 points while Insurance sector index up 0.71 points and Industrial sector rose 0.40 points.
