Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Thursday adding 62.67 points (0.65%) to advance to 9,761.03 points from 9,698.36 on Wednesday. The volume of the shares traded up to 6,905,717 from 5,786,686 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR289,735,174.91 from QR258,113,221.12 Wednesday. Among the top gainers were Doha Bank which was up 0.18% to QR54.40, Masraf Al Rayan gained 0.34% to QR29.15, Barwa Real Estate gained 3.16% to QR26.15 and Vodafone Qatar up by 0.22% to QR9.07. The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.35 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.02 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.41 points while insurance sector added 0.66 points.
