Qatar stock exchange up 0.71%

The Qatar Exchange in green area on Monday 10,046.57 points or 0.71% to 70.74 points from the previous closing of 9,975.83 points on Sunday. The volume of the shares up to 14,676,780 from 13,982,933 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR 472,713,191.71 from QR 218,997,685.28 on Sunday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank whose share up 2.24% to QR 169.00 , Industries Qatar whose share added 0.37% to QR 163.00, United Dev. Company gained 0.53% to QR 22.93 and Comm. Bank of Qatar increased by 1.47% to QR 69.00. The Banking and Financial sector index was gained1.50% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index raised 0.17 % points. The industrial sector was added 0.35% points while insurance sector down 0.06 % points.
