Qatar stock exchange up 0.77%

The Qatar Exchange in the green area on Wednesday adding 85.01 points (0.77%) advance to 11,134.70 points from 11,049.69 on Tuesday.The volume of the shares traded fell to 9,438,066 from 10,461,921 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR518,447,226.06 from QR502,812,765.05 Tuesday.Among the top gainers were Commercial Bank of Qatar which was up 0.56% to QR71.40, Qatar Insurance gained 4.59% to QR82.00, Electricity and Water added 1.06% to QR181.00 and Vodafone Qatar up by 0.80% to QR11.31.The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.21 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.13 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.93 points while insurance sector up 3.17 points.
