Qatar stock exchange up 0.83%

The Qatar Exchange in green area on Thursday 10,212.40 points or 0.83% to 83.88 points from the previous closing of 10,072.05 points on Wednesday. The volume of the shares down to 9,844,970 from 11,614,145 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR 378,813,389.45 from QR 475,158,250.58 on Wednesday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank whose share up 1.05% to QR 173.50, Nakilat whose share added 0.20% to QR 19.57, Industries Qatar gained 1.70% to QR 167.40 and United Dev. Company increased by 0.99% to QR 23.37. The Banking and Financial sector index was gained 0.64 % points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.09 % points. The industrial sector was added 1.28 % points while insurance sector down 0.21% points.
