The Qatar Exchange continued upswing trend on Wednesday adding 92.52 points (0.93%) advance to 10,006.36 points from 9,913.84 when trading closed on Tuesday. The volume of the shares traded increase to 7,386,913 from 5,652,605 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR 320,293,213.95 from QR 318,174,267.73. Among the top gainers were Vodafone Qatar which was up 1.10% to QR 9.22 , Industries Qatar gained 0.87% to QR162.40, Doha Bank gained 3.45% to QR56.90 and Qatar Fuel up by 1.61% to QR291.20 . The Banking and Financial sector index increased 0.47 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 1.55 points and Industrial sector up 0.59 points.
