The Qatar Exchange in the green area Monday adding 58.57 points (or 0.71%) to advance to 8,358.94 points from 8,300.37 Sunday. The volume of the shares traded up to 4,864,980 from 2,447,735 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR230,443,946.20 from QR132,853,102.90 Sunday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.32% to QR130.90, Commercial Bank of Qatar rose 0.85% to QR70.90, Electricity and Water gained 2.24% to QR132.40 and Rayan up by 0.90% to QR24.79. The Banking and Financial sector index added 13.59 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 35.22 points. The industrial sector rose 16.14 points while insurance sector up 40.17 points.
