
Qatar Stock Exchange index closed 158.44 points (-1.27%) lower when it closed Tuesday at 12,291.90 points from Monday's position of 12,450.34 points.
The traded value today decreased to QR 406.49 million with a volume of 8,557,766 shares from 5,472 transactions compared with QR 509.16 million with a volume of 10,074,849 shares from 5,959 transactions on Monday.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red zone barring transport which gained +0.76% (2,490.01 points) to continue its Monday's gain of +1.24% to 2,471.25 points.
Industries index dropped the most, down -1.50% to 4,018.47 points while real estate index fell -1.33% to 2,416.93 points.
Shares of 30 companies closed lower today, nine gained while two remained unchanged.
