
Qatar Stock Exchange index closed 161.65 points (-1.32%) lower when it closed Wednesday at 12,130.25 points from Tuesday's position of 12,291.90 points.
The traded value today decreased to QR 335.36 Million with a volume of 5,182,912 shares from 3,756 transactions compared with QR 406.49 Million with a volume of 8,557,766 shares from 5,472 transactions on Tuesday.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red zone barring insurance which gained slightly by +0.02% to 4,126.35 points.
Banks and financial services index declined the most, down -2.09% to 3,227.46 points followed by telecoms -1.26% to 1,415.35 points.
Shares of 32 companies closed lower today, ten gained while one remained unchanged.
