Qatar Stock Index (QSE) dropped 28.96 points (-0.24%) when the bourse closed trading at 12,250.21 points here Tuesday.
The market capitalisation decreased to QR 658.84 Billion from QR 659.97 Billion registered Monday.
The traded volume decreased to QR 293.16 Million with a volume of 7,017,382 shares from 3,906 transactions compared with QR 500.83 Million with a volume of 10,66,167 shares from 6,452 transactions on Monday.
Indices of four sectors declined and three gained today.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.24% (19,037.46 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index declined -0.31% (4,687.38 points) and QSE All Share Index declined -0.17% (3,277.25 points).
From the 43 listed companies, 14 advanced, 23 declined and six remained unchanged.
